the location is supposed to be great, yet hauling my luggage uphill to get to the hotel was an absolute struggle. not to mention, the beds were uncomfortable and kept separating—very romantic, right? i really thought they'd offer some kind of complimentary gesture, but no. guess i don't rate that treatment after all.

The hotel provides a charming and authentic atmosphere that resonates with its historical context, perfect for those seeking a sense of history in their stay.
The shower was quite small, making it a bit uncomfortable to use, which could be an inconvenience for larger guests.

great location but lack of modern amenities
The hotel boasts an incredible location on the Via Dolorosa, allowing easy access to historical sites. My room was spacious, with high ceilings adding a sense of grandeur. I particularly enjoyed the stunning views outside my window, which truly enhanced my experience of the surroundings.
The absence of air-conditioning may be a concern for some guests during the summer months.

I really loved the rooftop view, and the room was cozy, making it a nice place to unwind. There’s a peaceful garden area where you can relax and sip a coffee or just enjoy the surroundings. The only thing was the bathroom could use a little updating, but it didn’t ruin my stay at all! 😄

It was just a fitting option for a stopover in Jerusalem with all in all brilliant value for money. The beds were comfortable enough, and I appreciated the use of the space heater as the room was a bit chilly. Make sure to manage your luggage well as the light rail is quite a trek uphill.
